Outside Sales Representative

Emphasis on Human Resource support.

Leverage current market information to better understand who needs to be served, their specific needs, and how we can better provide solutions to those needs.

Salary DOE + Commission

This is an opportunity to work as part of a larger team and help shape future industry leaders.

Team members will operate virtually, with weekly in-person meetings

You will be interacting with corporate heads of Human Resources, Talent Management, OD, or related areas.

Marketing, promoting and profitably selling products and services to new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Seek out customer/business opportunities with new patrons.
  • Work to develop a marketing strategy and plan.
  • Collaboratively develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions for maximum productivity and sales growth.
  • Implement individual sales plan to support sales and profitability goals.
  • Generate profitable sales orders.
  • Work remotely while maintaining a high degree of collaboration.
  • Personal sales calls.
  • Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.
  • Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company.
  • Maintain a professional/working image
  • Develop effective and productive working relationships

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with 21st-century team productivity tools (email, instant messaging, video conferencing, CRM, etc.)
  • Strong closing skills
  • Excellent phone, verbal and communications skills
  • No fear of finding new opportunities (hunting) for users of products & services on a regular basis
  • Great time management skills to optimize your daily routine
  • Resourceful approach to identifying and building relationships with key people
  • Proven record of business development and sales.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be mobile in Houston area, able to make sales meetings
  • A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record. Current auto
  • Home office area, with full high-speed access and ability to run web and phone meetings professionally and reliably
  • Must pass standard background screening including drug and alcohol testing.
